Meet our supporters

Science Borealis: Blogging from Canadian Perspectives would not be possible without the support of several Canadian organizations.

We received start-up funding and in-kind support from Canadian Science Publishing, Canada’s not-for-profit science publisher. Our current support is provided by Genome Alberta, a publicly funded not-for-profit corporation that initiates, funds, and manages genomics research and partnerships, and by Ryerson SciXchange, whose mission is to make science engaging, comprehensible and accessible to the general public.

Science Borealis has also benefited from collaboration with the Canadian Science Writers’ Association, and discussions with the editors of Science Seeker and organizers of Science Online.

Genome Alberta is a publicly funded not-for-profit corporation that initiates, funds, and manages genomics research and partnerships. Genome Alberta strives to be the leading source of information and administration related to genomics, proteomics, bioinformatics and bioethics research in Alberta.      Ryerson SciXchange
