I haven’t had the pleasure of visiting Algonquin Provincial Park recently, so the good folks at the Harkness Laboratory of Fisheries Research (Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry)—stationed at Lake Opeongo in the Park—kindly sent me a graphic and a photo of how they’re using the lake trout illustration I recently licensed to them.
The sign asks anglers to report tagged Lake Trout from Lake Opeongo, and it’s placed on the side of the Harkness Lab research building at Lake Opeongo:
It’s neat to see my work in use, helping scientists monitor the population of lake trout in Algonquin’s’ largest lake.
