The Canadian Mountain Network was proud to present our work to the NCE Expert Panel, which took place in Ottawa on Tuesday, August 28th. The presentation was well-received, and CMN would like to thank everyone for their support in this application, especially our partners and contributors who made this possible.
We are very proud of our proposed research program, which involves over 100 researchers from over 30 academic and research institutions and engages 74 communities across Canada and the world, including 20 First Nations, Métis, and Inuit groups.
If we are successful in the NCE competition, CMN’s coverage will continue to expand with another Call for Proposals as early as 2019. NCE funding results will be announced in November 2018.
