The Canadian Mountain Network (CMN) presented the next steps in the Network’s pursuit of Networks of Centres of Excellence (NCE) funding on March 8, 2018, after successfully being invited to submit a full application in late February. The webinar outlined the requirements for the next stage in the remaining application process: the application deadline is in July with NCE Network funding announcements in October of this year.
Networks of Centres of Excellence is a Federally-funded program designed “to mobilize Canada’s research talent in the academic, private, public, and not-for-profit sectors and apply it to the task of developing the economy and improving the quality of life of Canadians.†The full application determines which network applicants will be funded as an NCE Network.
